Spread across 550 acres in nearby Point Clear, the resort offers championship golf, a full-service spa, tennis, pickleball, a pool complex, and on-site dining. If you’d like to make a weekend of it, this is a beautiful place to do so.
What to pack
Winter on the Eastern Shore is mild, with average highs in the low 60s and evenings that can dip into the upper 30s. Days are often bright and sunny, but the breeze off the water carries a chill, so bring a coat or a warm wrap for the evening, and an umbrella just in case.
Flying in
PNS is about an hour from Fairhope and offers flights on several major airlines including American, Delta, and Southwest.
MOB is also roughly an hour from Fairhope, with nonstop flights to several major hubs via American, Delta, and United.
